Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled Machinist for an all-on-site role in Wisconsin. You will perform diversified semi-skilled machining, read complex drawings, and maintain strict inspection standards to produce close-tolerance parts.

Setup and operate a wide range of equipment, while ensuring safety and quality during production. You will train new and existing employees, collaborate with engineering to improve processes, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Prefer some short-term trades training and minimum one year prior machining experience.
• Able to read and interpret complex drawings, charts and diagrams.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and read/write English.
• Plan and perform operation sequences, decide quality and setup.
• Use power/hand tools, gauges and testing devices to assemble components.
• Strong knowledge of feeds, speeds, materials and workholding devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and training to other employees to develop skills and production parts to specifications.
• Set-up, adjust, and operate a wide variety of machining equipment for close tolerance parts.
• Load/unload parts, run production runs and monitor for tool wear or malfunctions.
• Inspect machined products and document results.
• Identify defective workmanship and report issues to the lead.
• Collaborate with engineering and other departments to streamline processes.
• Apply continuous improvement tools to reduce waste and costs.
