Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is seeking a skilled CNC machinist for 2nd shift in York, NE. You will set up and run surface grinders and mills, read engineering drawings, monitor tool wear, and ensure parts meet tolerances.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent and at least two years of related experience. The role involves handling coolants and oils, maintaining documentation, and collaborating on continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years experience in related manufacturing.
• Basic math and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surface grinders and mills.
• Read and interpret prints and blueprints.
• Monitor tooling wear and change tools as needed.
• Document production and inspection results accurately.
• Identify process inefficiencies and report issues.
• Work 2nd shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, Monday–Friday.
