Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is seeking a skilled CNC machinist in York, NE. You will perform setup and runs on grinders and mills, read blueprints, monitor tooling, and ensure dimensional accuracy while documenting results. This onsite role requires a HS diploma and basic math, with a Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am shift.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma or equivalent and minimum of two years experience.
• Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimals.
• Reading, interpreting, and following blueprints.
• Experience with measurement equipment such as gauges and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup and runs on surface grinders and mills.
• Read, interpret and comprehend prints, engineering and quality standards.
• Monitor tooling for wear and adjust as needed.
• Maintain documentation including production tracking and inspection results.
• Identify and report process inefficiencies and machine issues.
• Follow work priorities to meet production goals.
• Handle coolants and chemical vapors safely during manufacturing.
• Obtain and maintain required Inspection Certifications.
• 3rd shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 pm - 07:00 am.
