Job summary

RENA Technologies North A in Albany, OR seeks a Machinist I to perform duties across manual machining, including lathe and mill operations, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic quality control measurements on parts.
• Utilize Solidworks to manipulate 3D files.
• Utilize Mastercam software.
• All other tasks assigned.

About this position

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform all the duties of a Machinist I.
• Experienced with non-standard set-ups.
• Proficient at operating a manual lathe including but not limited to single point threading and operating a manual mill.
• Must be proficient at the fundamentals of cutting - speeds and feeds, blade selection, etc.
• Verify accuracy of machined parts against blueprints or engineering drawings by measuring with inspection tooling and gauges.
• Ability to perform basic quality control measurements and inspections on machined parts.
• Proficient at Solidworks software with the ability to manipulate 3D solid part files.
• Proficient at Mastercam software.
• All other tasks assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education)

• 2-year Technical Degree preferred.
• Manual Machining: 3 years preferred.
• Have own machinist tools.
• Ability to follow verbal and written work instruction.
• Ability to effectively understand and operate within safety guidelines and policies.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
