Job summary

RENA Technologies GmbH in Albany, Oregon is seeking a Machinist II to join our manufacturing team. This full-time role focuses on manual machining using lathe and mill, with responsibilities including set-ups, threading, and working from engineering drawings.

You will perform quality checks with gauges, use Solidworks and Mastercam skills, and contribute to a safety-conscious, collaborative shop floor. A 2-year technical degree is preferred, with 3 years manual machining experience advantageous.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a manual lathe and manual mill.

• Conduct basic quality control measurements on parts.
• Manipulate 3D solid models in Solidworks; use Mastercam as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $26.00 To $32.00 Annually

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform all the duties of a Machinist I.
• Experienced with non-standard set-ups.
• Proficient at operating a manual lathe including but not limited to single point threading and operating a manual mill.
• Must be proficient at the fundamentals of cutting - speeds and feeds, blade selection, etc.
• Verify accuracy of machined parts against blueprints or engineering drawings by measuring with inspection tooling and gauges.
• Ability to perform basic quality control measurements and inspections on machined parts.
• Proficient at Solidworks software with the ability to manipulate 3D solid part files.
• Proficient at Mastercam software.
• All other tasks assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education)

• 2-year Technical Degree preferred.
• Manual Machining: 3 years preferred.
• Have own machinist tools.
• Ability to follow verbal and written work instruction.
• Ability to effectively understand and operate within safety guidelines and policies.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
