Job summary

RENA Technologies North A is seeking a Machinist II for our Albany, OR site. This full-time role focuses on manual machining, set-ups, and quality checks against blueprints, with opportunities to work with Solidworks and Mastercam to review 3D files.

You will operate a manual lathe and mill, perform precision measurements, and follow safety guidelines in a collaborative team environment. 2-year technical degree preferred; tools required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a manual lathe and manual mill with task-specific setups.
• Verify machined parts against blueprints or drawings using inspection tools.
• Perform basic quality control measurements on parts.
• Manipulate 3D solid files in Solidworks and Mastercam as needed.
• Carry out all other assigned duties.

Machinist II

Full Time Manual Labor Albany, OR, US

Salary Range: $26.00 To $32.00 Annually

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform all the duties of a Machinist I.
• Experienced with non-standard set-ups.
• Proficient at operating a manual lathe including but not limited to single point threading and operating a manual mill.
• Must be proficient at the fundamentals of cutting - speeds and feeds, blade selection, etc.
• Verify accuracy of machined parts against blueprints or engineering drawings by measuring with inspection tooling and gauges.
• Ability to perform basic quality control measurements and inspections on machined parts.
• Proficient at Solidworks software with the ability to manipulate 3D solid part files.
• Proficient at Mastercam software.
• All other tasks assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education)

• 2-year Technical Degree preferred.
• Manual Machining: 3 years preferred.
• Have own machinist tools.
• Ability to follow verbal and written work instruction.
• Ability to effectively understand and operate within safety guidelines and policies.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
