Daniel Defense is hiring a Machinist 1 - Mixed Model in Black Creek, GA. You will maintain cell productivity by troubleshooting production problems and performing tool setups under guidance of Manufacturing Engineers and Supervisors.

Responsibilities include operating machines, making offsets, calibrating probes, inspecting parts with precision tools, and assisting in training operators while upholding safety and quality standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; 2–4 years manufacturing experience, or equivalent combo.
• Two-year technical degree or approved apprenticeship in CNC mill/lathe is a plus.
• Knowledge of GD&T, machine tool programming languages (G & M codes), and blueprint reading.

Mansioni

• Conform to operator work instructions, SOPs, quality and safety procedures.
• Calibrate probes and tool setters; set up tools and offsets as needed.
• Troubleshoot machine issues affecting part production or quality.
• Perform repetitive inspections using micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and indicators.
• Support cell Supervisor to meet production requirements and train operators.
