Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with 4–6 years manufacturing experience.
• Two-year technical degree or approved CNC apprenticeship is a plus.
• Understanding of basic programming strategies and machine tool languages (G & M codes).
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Perform Machinist 1 functions with increased proficiency.
• Set up and prove out programs from programmers.
• Optimize programs and processes to improve cycle time and capability.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the work area.
• Train operators and contribute to environment, health, and safety goals.
