Job summary

Daniel Defense, LLC is seeking a Machinist 1 to join our manufacturing team. You will operate CNC machines, perform setups under supervision, and troubleshoot production issues to keep cell output strong.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of shop experience, and preferably a two-year technical degree or CNC apprenticeship. Training others and improving processes join daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years of manufacturing experience or related training.
• Two-year technical degree or approved CNC apprenticeship is a plus.
• Ability to interpret machine tool programming languages and use measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot CNC machines within SOPs and safety rules.
• Maintain cell productivity and perform established setups with guidance.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, height gauges, calipers and indicators.
• Assist with training machine operators and support process improvements.
