Zero-Max in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Machinist 3 to set up and operate complex CNC equipment with minimal supervision. You will guide less skilled machinists and perform precision work on high‑quality parts.

This top‑level role requires extensive experience, a strong tooling and process background, and a commitment to safety and quality in a climate‑controlled shop environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Machining and 5-7 years’ experience with equipment of a complex nature; or 8-10 years’ experience with equipment of a complex nature; or a combination of education and experience.
• Must be highly proficient at set-up, operation, determining tooling, process sequences, speeds and feeds, shop mathematics, and thorough on inspection of parts and instruction to others
• Programming is not a prerequisite for this position but is a plus.

Zero-Max is currently recruiting for a Machinist 3 who will be responsible for the set-up and operation of multiple, complex machines with little or no supervision. Instructs less skilled machinists. This is the top-level machinist position. Employees at this level should be highly proficient with all less complex machines in the shop.

Requirements

Education/Experience
