Job summary

Zero-Max, located in Plymouth, MN, is seeking an Assembler to produce and assemble mechanical parts according to specifications. It offers a clean, climate-controlled shop and a weekday shift (6:30am–3:00pm) with a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanical assembly experience required.
• Must be familiar with portable power tool and machine tools such as a drill press.
• Requires a basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Must have computer familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow daily MES and other instructions to build and assemble parts in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Make routine inspection of products after assembling
• Operate small hand and power tools
• Maintains a 5S work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
• Participate in continuous improvement through submittal of improvement ideas and working with management and engineering to accomplish improvements

Zero-Max is currently recruiting for an Assembler responsible for producing and assembling mechanical parts according to specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Read and follow daily Manufactured Electronic Scheduler (MES) and other instructions to build and assemble parts in an accurate and timely fashion
