Job summary

Zero-Max in Plymouth, MN is hiring an Assembler to produce and assemble mechanical parts according to specifications. You will read MES instructions, operate small tools, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

The role emphasizes a clean, safe, climate-controlled shop and participation in continuous improvement. A high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of assembly experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanical assembly experience required.
• Must be familiar with portable power tool and machine tools such as a drill press.
• Requires a basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Must have computer familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Make routine inspection of products after assembling.

Zero-Max is currently recruiting for an Assembler responsible for producing and assembling mechanical parts according to specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Read and follow daily Manufactured Electronic Scheduler (MES) and other instructions to build and assemble parts in an accurate and timely fashion
• Make routine inspection of products after assembling
• Operate small hand and power tools
• Maintains a 5S work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
• Participate in continuous improvement through submittal of improvement ideas and working with management and engineering to accomplish improvements

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 3 to 5 years of mechanical assembly experience required

Required Skills

• Must be familiar with portable power tool and machine tools such as a drill press
• Requires a basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Must have computer familiarity
