Swagelok Northeast Ohio is seeking a Machinist/Machine Operator who can perform set-up and operation of machining equipment, run start-stop sequences, and adjust tooling with minimal guidance. The position offers a 24/7 shift schedule, a pay range of $24.50–$34.30 per hour, plus overtime and a $3,000 sign-on bonus after 30 days, with a comprehensive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 30 months machining experience.
Must be fully qualified as a Level 2 Machine Operator.
Advanced knowledge about metal or plastic cutting processes and equipment.
Self-motivated and able to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machining equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform start-stop procedures including loading raw material and machine startup/shutdown.
Make changes, adjustments, and setup to tooling and fixtures as required.
Complete records and forms.
Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to quality standards.
Maintain tooling and machine as required.
Report malfunctions and discrepancies to supervisor.
Perform routine machine maintenance.
