Job summary

Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. in Rock Spring, GA is hiring a Machining Utility to support the machining department across three shifts.

You will perform visual quality checks on raw and machined aluminum parts, load/unload CNC machines, and keep work areas clean while assisting line leaders and other departments as needed. The role emphasizes adherence to safety procedures, teamwork, and reliability, with opportunities to step into leadership roles when required.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions precisely.
• Teamwork and willingness to support other departments.

Responsibilities

• Visual quality check of raw cast aluminum products.
• Visual quality check of machined aluminum products.
• Load raw cast aluminum into manual CNC machine.
• Unload machined product from CNC machine.
• Load conveyor with machined aluminum products.
• End of shift area cleanup as needed.
• Support other departments and fill in as Step-Up Line Leader when needed.
• Report to supervisor if tasks are not completed and seek additional work.
