Job summary

Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Machining Operator to support the Machining department on full-time shifts.

You will perform visual quality checks on raw and machined aluminum products, load parts into manual CNC machines, unload finished parts, and keep the line and area clean. This role requires teamwork, adherence to safety and quality standards, and willingness to support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build friendly work relationships.
• Familiar with manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual quality checks of raw cast aluminum products.
• Perform visual quality checks of machined aluminum products.
• Load raw cast aluminum products into manual CNC machines.
• Unload machined products from CNC machines.
• Load conveyor with machined aluminum products.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow all safety regulations.
• Support other departments and tasks as needed.
• Report any safety or quality issues to supervisor.
