Job summary

A-dec in Newberg, OR is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor – Machining to lead daily CNC and manual machining operations, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost objectives. You will coordinate workflow across machining cells, manage tooling, fixturing, and equipment readiness, and coach a team of CNC machinists and programmers to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations with machining or fabrication.
• 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience working with CNC equipment and production processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent combos may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily machining operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate workflow across machining cells, including loading, queue management, and changeover efficiency.
• Ensure tooling, fixturing, material availability, and equipment capability are ready.
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members including CNC Machinists and Programmers.
• Manage timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling to meet production demands.
• Partner with HR on staffing and employee relations.
• Ensure adherence to standard work, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean principles.
