Ascentec Engineering, located in Tualatin, Oregon, is seeking a skilled CNC Lead Machinist for a full-time, on-site role. The candidate will lead a team, set up and operate CNC centers (Okuma, Mazak, Fanuc Robodrill, Haas), and ensure part quality through GD&T and precision measurement.

The position requires at least 5 years in CNC machining with demonstrated leadership, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to drive continuous improvement on a multi-shift shop floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in CNC machining with lead or supervisory role.
• Experience operating and maintaining CNC machines (Okuma, Mazak, Fanuc, Haas).
• Strong reading of technical drawings, GD&T, and precision measurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of machinists and operators on day shift.
• Set up and operate CNC machine centers; troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
• Ensure quality and dimensional accuracy through in-process inspections.
• Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen and Lean practices.
• Coordinate schedules, provide training, and ensure production goals are met.
