Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience setting up and running CNC and manual mills and lathes (3, 4, and 5-axis) required.
• Minimum three years of proven aerospace manufacturing leadership experience coordinating and developing a high-performing team required.
• Understanding of ERP systems and inventory control processes required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Machining Department, including machinists and operators.
• Ensure cycle times and quality meet company productivity goals.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management for direct reports.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.

Skills

Strong understanding of machining processes, engineering drawings, and GD&T

Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and MRP/ERP systems

Strong communication skills, both oral and written

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Proven problem-solving skills

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
