BrassCraft Manufacturing Company is seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor to lead a high-volume machining operation. You will coordinate people, equipment, materials, and resources to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost goals.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving to drive continuous improvement across shifts. You will oversee personnel performance, training, and shift handoffs while maintaining standard work and plant policies.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in machining or machine shop operations with hands-on equipment, tooling, setup, and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of direct supervisory experience in manufacturing, overseeing performance and training.
• Able to read and interpret work instructions, schedules, drawings, and specs.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily machine shop operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals.
• Plan and assign work based on priorities, capacity, material availability, staffing, and skills.
• Promote safety and ensure adherence to procedures; conduct safety discussions and reinforce practices.
• Coach and develop employees; set expectations and provide feedback.
• Monitor performance and respond to issues to minimize disruption and hit targets.
• Coordinate with maintenance to support safe, efficient operations.
• Maintain records and report results to plant leadership.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
