Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in CAM or related field or tested experience with credentials.
• Minimum five years of work experience in the field.
• Collegiate teaching experience preferred.
• Precision machining and CNC experience preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to improving student learning with tech-enabled teaching.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare and provide syllabi for all assigned sections according to policies.
• Employ teaching strategies and instructional technology when appropriate.
• Modify instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Support classroom and online efforts to promote student success.
• Evaluate and return student work promptly.
• Maintain records of student progress and finalize grade rosters on time.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Adjunct cannot teach more than 12 credit hours per semester.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Aided Manufacturing or related field

Tested Experience requirements (high school diploma or equivalent)

Journeyman license or similar credential

Teaching experience in college preferred

Effective communication and teamwork
