Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, machinist journeyman certificate, and ten years of experience in the machining field.
• Competency in shop math including trigonometry and application of machine shop formulas.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach machining concepts for manual lathes and mills, including inspection procedures and blueprint reading.
• Instruct CNC machining: setup and operation, G-code hand programming, off-line CAM planning.
