Sinclair Community College invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position in Computer Aided Manufacturing - Welding at the Dayton campus. The role teaches welding courses, with compensation starting at $1,046 per credit hour. Applicants must reside in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky or be able to work in one of these states.

Prior teaching and credentials may be required. Responsibilities include curriculum delivery, syllabus preparation, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer aided manufacturing or related field is required.
• Must meet Tested Experience requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; industry license or certification; five years of work experience.
• Collegiate teaching experience in the field is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to improving student learning and ability to use multimedia-based instruction.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare syllabi for all assigned sections and ensure alignment with policies.
• Employ teaching methods and technology appropriately.
• Modify methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Support classroom and online efforts to promote student success.
• Evaluate and return student work promptly; maintain records and finalize grades.
