Qualifications

• Associate degree in design or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum three years of field experience
• Evidence of prior teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty teach curriculum developed by the department
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning
• Prepare, distribute and submit syllabi for all assigned sections per policies
• Employ teaching strategies and instructional technology when appropriate
• Adapt methods to meet diverse student needs
• Support classroom and online efforts to promote student success
• Evaluate and return student work promptly to promote learning
• Maintain accurate records of student progress
• Submit final grade rosters by deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality of student information
• Cannot exceed 12 credit hours per semester
