Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 2+ years in manufacturing setup, strong blueprint reading skills, and proficiency with hand and power tools. This is a hands-on, on-site position in Holt, MI with growth potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing setup or related field.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and precision measuring devices.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and system navigation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage production equipment per work orders and specs.
• Make mechanical and electrical adjustments to ensure proper function.
• Perform pre-operational checks to verify readiness and safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with operators and engineers to optimize setups.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S.
• Document setup procedures, settings, and deviations.
