The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Setup Technician in Rockford, MI to support efficient production changeovers on manufacturing lines. This role involves preparing and staging equipment, performing mechanical adjustments, testing setups, and documenting parameters to ensure quality and uptime.

You will collaborate with partner manufacturers, adhere to safety standards, and use precision tools to verify setup accuracy while contributing to continuous improvement efforts within a West Michigan

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).

Responsibilities

Prepare and stage equipment and tooling according to production schedules.
Perform mechanical and electrical adjustments to machinery for optimal performance.
Verify proper setup and functionality through test runs and quality checks.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor setup-related issues to minimize downtime.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Document setup parameters and equipment status for record-keeping.
