Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Setup Technician in Hart, MI to safely operate and setup equipment with a focus on efficient production changeovers. This role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read blueprints and use hand tools.

Candidates should have mechanical aptitude and good problem-solving skills. You will work with production and engineering teams to optimize setup procedures, perform preventative maintenance, and document

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of manufacturing or production experience.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
Ability to read technical documents (blueprints, schematics).
Strong problem-solving skills.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Safely operate and maintain various manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments according to production schedules and specifications.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, performing minor repairs as needed.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize setup procedures and improve efficiency.
Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards during equipment setup and operation.
Document setup parameters, maintenance activities, and equipment performance for record-keeping.
