The Pivot Group Network in Cadillac, MI is seeking a Setup Technician to prepare and stage equipment, perform machine setup and changeovers, and ensure product specifications are met. This role also involves calibrating equipment and performing basic troubleshooting to support efficient production runs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years in manufacturing, with strong blueprint reading, mechanical aptitude, and safety awareness to fit within our West Michigan

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 years in manufacturing or production.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Capability to use hand/tools, precision measuring devices and test equipment safely.

Responsibilities

Prepare and stage equipment and materials per production schedules.
Perform setup and changeover procedures on machinery.
Calibrate and adjust equipment to meet specs.
Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions during setup.
Conduct quality checks on initial production runs post-setup.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
