precisionresource in Vernon Hills, IL is hiring for a hands-on manufacturing role. This position offers 4x10-hour days, Mon-Thur, with voluntary overtime and a clear path to learn multiple areas of metals manufacturing. You will operate production machines, load/unload high volumes of parts, perform basic inspections, and record production in the work center.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with mechanical aptitude.
• Manufacturing experience ideal but any mechanical related experience with basic math skills may qualify.
• Must understand, speak and write basic English; bilingual Spanish ideal.
• Willing to train and be self-motivated for a manufacturing career with energy and a positive attitude.
• Physically capable of lifting, turning, bending, walking, standing, reaching.
• Very reliable and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines; training provided on setup and troubleshooting.
• Load and unload high volumes of metal parts; move bins on/off pallets.
• Visually inspect parts using basic inspection tools.
• Read and follow verbal and written instructions to identify and produce work.
• Accurately record production into the work center.
• Participate in continual improvement teams and activities.
• Comply with safety requirements and good housekeeping.
• Maintain very reliable and punctual attendance.

Essential Duties

• Operate various production machines. We willtrain how to set-up and troubleshoot each, including: grinders, beltsanders, presses, and basic CNC machines, etc.
• Load and unload high volumes of metal parts efficiently. Move parts bins on and off pallets.
• Visually inspect parts and learn to use basic inspection tools.
• Read and follow verbal and written instructions to identify and produce work.
• Accurately record production into work center.
• Participate in continual improvement teams and activities.
• Comply with all safety requirements including but not limited to good housekeeping.
• Very reliable and punctual work attendance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus hands-on mechanical aptitude and skills.
• Manufacturing experience ideal but any mechanical relatedexperience with basic math skills may qualify. (Experience working on cars is very applicable)
• Must understand, speak and write basicEnglish; bilingual Spanish ideal.
