Job summary

Precision Resource, Inc. in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking production team members to learn and operate various metalworking machines and support a fast-paced manufacturing line.

You will be trained to set up grinders, belt sanders, presses and basic CNC equipment, while ensuring safe handling and accurate production records. Strong attendance and motivation to learn are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus hands-on mechanical aptitude and skills.
• Manufacturing experience ideal but any mechanical related experience with basic math skills may qualify (cars applicable).
• Must understand, speak and write basic English; bilingual Spanish ideal.

• Easily adaptable to changing situations and enjoy work variety.
• Outstanding reliable and punctual attendance as part of your daily commitment to the team.
• Physically capable of lifting, turning, bending walking, standing, reaching

Responsibilities

• Operate various production machines and learn setup/troubleshooting for grinders, belt sanders, presses and basic CNC machines.
• Load and unload high volumes of metal parts; move parts bins on/off pallets.
• Visually inspect parts and learn to use basic inspection tools.
• Read and follow verbal and written instructions to identify and produce work.
• Accurately record production into work center systems.
• Participate in continual improvement teams and activities.
• Comply with all safety requirements and housekeeping standards.
