Qualifications

• Able to use hand/power tools, measuring equipment such as gauges, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures.
• Able to communicate effectively, and understand verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Set ups and operates various machines and equipment.
• Conduct required quality checks and completes required documentation (e.g., scrap sheets, logs, data gathering, first/last piece inspection reports).
• Performs required preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment, machine, and process problems.
• May use hand and power tools to assemble products and package components.
• Follows verbal and written instructions, including blueprints, and uses computer for production-related tasks.
• May operate various material handling equipment such as power pallet jacks, lifts and packaging wrappers.
• Performs a variety of tasks/roles throughout the day, and rotates from positions as required.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles.
• Regular attendance and ability to work overtime.

The **Machine Operators** in **Stevens Point, WI** safely and efficiently performs a variety of tasks in an industrial environment involving motorized vehicles, rotating equipment, manual and power tools, and production lines.
