Job summary

Donaldson Company Inc. in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Machine Operator to safely and efficiently run production lines, set up machines, and perform quality checks. The role supports 1st and 2nd shifts with overtime on Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, recording data, and following blueprints and instructions. Requires ability to lift 35 lbs, basic tools use, and good communication; 6S cleanliness and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. regularly and stand for long periods.
• Able to use hand/power tools and measuring equipment.
• Able to communicate effectively and understand verbal & written instructions.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Set ups and operates various machines and equipment.
• Conduct required quality checks and complete documentation (e.g., scrap sheets, logs, data gathering, first/last piece inspection reports).
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment, machines, and processes.
• May use hand and power tools to assemble products and package components.
• Follow verbal and written instructions, including blueprints, and use computer for production-related tasks.
• Operate material handling equipment such as power pallet jacks, lifts and packaging wrappers.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safe work environment using 6S.

Machine Operator – Stevens Point, WI

Machine Operators in Stevens Point, WI safely and efficiently performs a variety of tasks in an industrial environment involving motorized vehicles, rotating equipment, manual and power tools, and production lines. Responsibilities include operating machinery, conducting quality checks, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Schedule and Pay

1st & 2nd Shifts Available

1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM [Monday through Friday]

2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM [Monday through Friday]

OT include Saturdays as needed. Probationary training may be required on 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM).

Pay Range: $22.22 to $23.30/hr. ($.45/hr. shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts)

• Performs a variety of tasks/roles throughout the day, and rotates from positions as required
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles
• Regular attendance and ability to work overtime

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time

• Able to communicate effectively, and understand verbal and written instructions
• Basic computer literacy

Preferred Qualification

• Previous work experience in a production or industrial environment
• Able and willing to learn new tasks and train in other positions
