Adecco is seeking Machine Operators for a leading manufacturing company in Johnstown, Ohio. This role involves operating fabrication machinery, assembling tire repair products, and ensuring quality and safety standards. Shift options include 1st and 2nd shifts with a pay rate of $19.30–$21.05 per hour.

• Minimum of one year of manufacturing, production, machine operation, or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment, including TECH 1000, TECH 1001, TECH 3000, SLAM, and RO175 machines.
• Utilize Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems to operate and monitor equipment.
• Keep machines supplied with materials such as rubber, fabric, and Mylar.
• Read and follow production work orders and ISO documentation.
• Accurately record labor and inventory transactions within the MES system.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Lift, mount, and set up material rolls on machine spindles.
• Remove plastic film from rubber patches as needed.
• Assemble components consisting of rubber, fabric, and plastic materials.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Summary

The Machine Operator will be responsible for assembling high-quality tire repair products (patches) using specialized fabrication equipment and manual assembly processes. This role requires attention to detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently while maintaining production and quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment, including TECH 1000, TECH 1001, TECH 3000, SLAM, and RO175 machines

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 55 pounds
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
• Occasionally climb ladders and stairs
• Ability to perform repetitive motions while maintaining quality standards

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with both heated and air-conditioned work areas
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, moderate noise, airborne particles, and varying production conditions
• Safety shoes and safety glasses are required at all times
• Employees are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean workspace

Pay Details: $19.30 to $21.05 per hour
