Adecco is seeking a Machine Operator for a leading Johnstown, Ohio manufacturing company. The role involves operating fabrication equipment and assembling tire repair patches with attention to detail and quality standards.

The position requires the ability to work independently, follow ISO documentation, and maintain safe, efficient production workflows. Training on specific machinery will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of manufacturing, production, machine operation, or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment (TECH 1000, 1001, 3000, SLAM, RO175).
• Use HMI systems to operate and monitor equipment.
• Keep machines stocked with rubber, fabric, and Mylar materials.
• Read production work orders and ISO documentation.
• Record labor and inventory transactions in MES system.
• Inspect finished products for quality standards.

Job Title: Machine Operator - Fabrication
Location: Johnstown, OH
Schedule:1st Shift5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
2nd Shift 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM
Pay Rate: $19.30 - $21.05/hour

Job Summary

The Machine Operator will be responsible for assembling high-quality tire repair products (patches) using specialized fabrication equipment and manual assembly processes. This role requires attention to detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently while maintaining production and quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment, including TECH 1000, TECH 1001, TECH 3000, SLAM, and RO175 machines
• Utilize Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems to operate and monitor equipment
• Keep machines supplied with materials such as rubber, fabric, and Mylar
• Read and follow production work orders and ISO documentation
• Accurately record labor and inventory transactions within the MES system
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Lift, mount, and set up material rolls on machine spindles
• Remove plastic film from rubber patches as needed
• Assemble components consisting of rubber, fabric, and plastic materials
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 55 pounds
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
• Occasionally climb ladders and stairs
• Ability to perform repetitive motions while maintaining quality standards

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with both heated and air-conditioned work areas
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, moderate noise, airborne particles, and varying production conditions
• Safety shoes and safety glasses are required at all times
• Employees are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean workspace

Pay Details: $19.30 to $21.05 per hour
