Work Schedule: 2nd Shift (M-F 3:30pm-12:00am) This is a temporary position

Starting at $20.00 per hour.

Position Summary: The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, working with team members to meet or exceed quality and production expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety policies including PPE, incident reporting, hazard communication, and labeling.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Set up programs in Laser console and locate jobs.
• Ensure goals and schedules are met.
• Acquire needed materials for jobs.
• Perform basic hand deburring.
• Operate aluminum and stainless timesaver, bowls, and bead blaster in bowl room.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Use calipers and measuring tools.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, and perform team lifts of up to 75 lbs.
• Maintain confidentiality and organize workstations.
• Build strong team relationships and collaborate effectively.
• Perform troubleshooting and quality checks.
• Document parts counts and notify supervisors of issues.
• Assist in training new employees as needed.
• Pull jobs efficiently from FIFO system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• 1-3+ years manufacturing experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and determine setup and operations.
• Ability to work professionally with others.
