Work Schedule: 2nd Shift (M-F 3:30pm-12:00am) This is a temporary position

Starting at $20.00 per hour.

Position Summary: The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating equipment used in manufacturing products, working with other employees to meet or exceed quality and production expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety policies such as Personal Protective Equipment, Incident/Injury Reporting, Hazard Communication, and Labeling.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Locate jobs and set up programs in Laser console.
• Ensure goals are met and products are developed on schedule.
• Gather needed materials for jobs.
• Maintain equipment in optimal condition and report issues.
• Complete required paperwork (e.g., 1st PC Article, WIP, 100% Ready for ISN, router).
• Manually adjust line breaks on segmented parts.
• Convert between metric and standard measurements.
• Read prints and match to router and pink ticket.
• Pull and verify programs from Z-Drive and C-Drive, ensuring they match prints.
• Set up and edit VLF and WST programs to match coordinates.
• Use calipers and measuring tools accurately.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs with team assistance.
• Maintain confidentiality and organize workspace.
• Collaborate respectfully with team members.
• Perform troubleshooting, quality checks, and document parts accurately.
• Report discrepancies or malfunctions immediately.
• Assist in training new employees as needed.
• Pull jobs efficiently from FIFO system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• 1-3+ years in manufacturing, preferably in medical devices or regulated environments.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret them for setup and operations.
• Ability to work effectively with others.
