Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Napoleon, OH is seeking a Machine Operator to ensure safe, efficient production of molded OES products and to prepare items for shipping. This non-exempt, full-time role requires following precise production specifications and maintaining quality standards across all SKUs.

You will inspect and trim parts, report any quality issues, operate with safety as a priority, and keep a clean workstation.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate verbally or in writing.
Ability to display safety orientation.
Physical demands include walking, climbing stairs/ladders, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Environment may be outdoor and indoor warm in summer.
Occasional use of cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

Reviews production specifications for each product SKU scheduled for production.
Removes product from machine in accordance with cycle time to maintain schedule.
Trims, files or cuts excess flash from product.
Inspects each piece to ensure quality meets standards.
Notifies supervisor of quality issues or inconsistencies to limit production loss.
Installs or assembles additional components per order specifications.
Maintains awareness and communicates safety concerns.
Labels, packages, and stacks finished product for shipping.
Adheres to safety procedures and reports hazards.
Maintains clean, organized workstation to ensure safety.
