Job Objective

This role involves operating automatic or semi-automatic machines in a continuous production/processing environment, following documented specifications and instructions. The incumbent monitors meters, gauges, and controls to ensure adherence to production and process standards, while complying with safety and quality procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Operate machinery according to specifications to maximize production and minimize downtime.
• Perform setup, operation, maintenance, and changeover procedures on assembly machines within referenced parameters.
• Be Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Certified and demonstrate compliance with procedures.
• Maintain operating records, including machine logs and other documentation for audits, following SOPs and WIs.
• Start and stop machines, and respond to emergency E-stops and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Read control panels and touch screens; monitor digital communication equipment; identify and correct system errors and faults.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, report abnormalities, and make minor adjustments or repairs as instructed.
• Follow SOPs, cGMPs, safety, and housekeeping requirements; may train others.
• Verify components before use and report discrepancies.
• Perform inventory control tasks in staging areas.
• Maintain a high sense of urgency and take prompt action when needed.
• Perform Cleaning & Sanitization (CNS) tasks as applicable and other duties as assigned.
• Operate, set up, and run Drum-Tote Filler equipment.

Education and Experience - Required

Ability to read, understand, and implement SOPs and WIs. Mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting skills, and experience training others. High school diploma or equivalent.
