Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Job Locations: US-OH-Cleveland

Overview:

Join us as a Machine Operator (2nd Shift) and see how your routine and non-routine machining make a difference in helping us achieve our goals. Element is seeking a self-motivated, mechanically inclined individual to operate various Machine Shop equipment in our production process. We are a renowned Aerospace Testing Company serving clients like Boeing, SpaceX, and Blue Origin.

Salary: $20/hr-$24/hr + $1.00 Shift Diff for 2nd shift

Responsibilities:

1. Willing to train the right candidate
2. Set up, operate, and monitor machinery to ensure timely production, including machining samples to close tolerances
3. Read and interpret drawings, instructions, safety rules, and procedures
4. Select, align, and secure fixtures, tools, and materials on machines
5. Safely operate equipment such as saws, waterjet, lathe, mill, and grinder to produce test specimens
6. Use inspection tools like calipers and micrometers

Skills / Qualifications:

1. HS diploma or GED required
2. Experience with basic hand tools
3. Previous shop experience is a plus
4. Technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus
5. Willing to train the right candidate
