Join to apply for the MACHINE OPERATOR - 2ND SHIFT role at PCA Packaging Supplies.

We are seeking applicants for a Semi Auto Gluer Operator on 2nd shift (1 opening) in our Akron, OH facility. The hourly rate is $20.42.

Responsibilities

1. Work as part of a team to support manufacturing operations, aiming to increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste.
2. Set up, operate, feed machinery, and stack boxes.
3. Participate in plant and facilities-related tasks.
4. Follow all safety rules and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
5. Maintain shop and equipment according to 5S standards.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
7. May be required to lift parts up to 30 lbs. for up to 12 hours.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School diploma or GED.
2. Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
3. Ability to sit, stoop, and bend.
4. Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
5. Must be able to work the 2nd shift.
6. Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in packaging or manufacturing environments is preferred.
