Incumbents in this role tend to operate automatic or semi-automatic machines in a continuous production/processing operation, following production/process specifications or instructions as documented and directed. They monitor meters, gauges, and related controls to ensure adherence to specifications, while performing all work in accordance with safety and quality procedures.
Must be able to read, understand, and implement SOPs and WIs. Proficiency obtained through on-the-job training. Prior mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment is required, including troubleshooting and training others.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
