Job summary

Zebra Technologies Corporation in Morris Plains, NJ is seeking a manufacturing/operations associate for 2nd shift to operate and maintain equipment, follow processes, and conduct quality tests as part of a structured production team.

The role offers $18.00/hr with a 3% incentive target of base pay, and a benefits package including healthcare, wellness programs, IT and professional development, PTO, and hybrid work flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machines and equipment while adhering to all quality and safety standards.
• Perform packing, rewinding / assembly, or pre‑press functions and operate associated machinery.
• Follow work order instructions and perform labeling requirements.
• Perform quality tests per ISO procedures.
• Adhere to productivity standards.
• Comply with all required safety practices and use of PPE.
• Limited requirement for decision making in role.
• Contribute primarily through execution of defined processes and procedures but may make suggestions for process improvement.
• Resolve a variety of simple problems of limited complexity by following highly detailed instructions or procedures.
• Transmit and receive basic information related to role in order to carry out duties.
• Build productive working relationships internally, generally within immediate department or team.
• Learn policies and procedures and how to apply them to issues experienced in routine activities.
• Learn and closely follow established processes and directions.
• Receive direct supervision for routine work, new projects or assignments.
• Train other team members as directed by supervisor or lead.
• Follow Zebra shared values.

Shift

2nd shift: Monday–Friday 2PM–10:30PM.

Compensation

Wage: $18.00hr.

Incentive compensation: opportunity to earn a performance‑based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 3% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
