Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an onsite production operator in Downers Grove, IL to join a growing Aerospace and Defense team. You will set up and run machines, read gauges, and document quality records in a climate-controlled facility.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read instructions and blueprints, and the stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive benefits start day one with opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with mechanical aptitude and minimum one year of experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Reliability to work scheduled shifts to meet customer needs.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, Gemba boards, and verbal as well as written instructions.
• Set up, adjust and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Use calipers, micrometers, depth & height gauges, Sunnen gauges & plug gauges, hand tools and operator manual machines.
• Set up and/or verify preset gauges for proper calibration as required, inspect own work to ensure quality and quantity standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality records.

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Based on experience we will offer $20.00-$24.00/Hr., along with a very competitive benefit package, including 401(k) with a match, that starts day one. Key Accountabilities

Qualifications

• Strong reliability – it is crucial that this person is able to work as scheduled in order to meet our customers’ requirements.
• Able to use saw to cut bar stock.
• Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with mechanical aptitude and minimum one-year previous experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Rotate between multiple machines, lift up to 50lbs occasionally and stand for an entire shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
