Job summary

Regal Rexnord is hiring for an onsite manufacturing role in Downers Grove, IL. The position offers $22-25/hr plus a $2/hr shift premium and a $4,000 sign-on bonus, with a strong benefits package starting day one.

Responsibilities include working from process sheets and blueprints, deburring, setting up and operating production machines, and ensuring quality by using precision gauges. Candidates should have a high school diploma and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• Operate production machines and verify gauges/calibration as required.
• Use calipers, micrometers and gauges; maintain quality records.
• Inspect own work and rotate across multiple machines; lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Key Accountabilities

• Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, Gemba boards, and verbal as well as written instructions.


• Hand deburring


• Set up, adjust and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.


• Use calipers, micrometers, depth & height gauges, Sunnen gauges & plug gauges, hand tools and operator manual machines.


• Set up and/or verify preset gauges for proper calibration as required, inspect own work to ensure quality and quantity standards.


• Prepare and maintain quality records.

Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment preferred.

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with mechanical aptitude and minimum one-year previous experience.

Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams in English.

Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Hand deburring

Rotate between multiple machines, lift up to 50lbs occasionally and stand for an entire shift.
