Job summary

National Oilwell Varco in Andrews, TX seeks an entry-level machinist to support fiberglass tank and wastewater product fabrication, ensuring safety and quality before shipment.

You will operate a fiberglass chop gun, assist the operator, keep work area clean, and follow schedules with minimal supervision, while wearing PPE and adhering to company policies.

This role requires ability to pass drug screen, willingness to overtime, and flexibility to learn multiple duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Three years of verifiable work history preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime & shift work as required.
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required.
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations.
• Factory environment with large temperature changes.
• Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
