Job summary

NOV – Fiberglass Systems in Andrews, TX, is seeking an entry-level team member to support the safe fabrication of our tanks and wastewater products before shipment to customers.

In this role you will operate the fiberglass chop gun, assist the operator, maintain a clean work area, and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Expect overtime/shift work, strict PPE usage, and adherence to quality, safety, and company policies as you learn multiple duties.

Qualifications

  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Three years of verifiable work history preferred.
  • Must be able to work overtime and shift work as required.
  • Able to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all duties.
  • Able to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations.
  • Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Operates fiberglass chop gun.
  • Assists chop gun operator with tasks.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
  • Utilize safe work habits.
  • Wear appropriate PPE.
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
