Job summary

NOV in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to produce high-quality, low-cost pipe in accordance with specifications while maintaining NOV quality and safety measures. You will operate winding and DSC machines, extract carts, and handle related tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include reading gauges and labels, using measuring equipment, maintaining a clean workspace, and complying with all company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Three years of verifiable work history.
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to read pressure gauges
• Ability to read labels on pipe along with specs on paper
• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
• Good vision required for safe operation of forklift
• Standing up to 12 hours daily
• Walking up to 12 hours daily
• Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
• Assist where and when needed as required
• Utilize recommended safe work habits and make use of all safety equipment provided
• Assist with OJT (On Job Training) employees as needed
