Job summary

LiDestri Foods is seeking a Machine Operator to safely operate production equipment, perform setup and changeovers, and troubleshoot to ensure product quality. You will maintain GMP standards, follow SOPs, and participate in training with a focus on continuous improvement.

The role requires basic math skills, PPE usage, and reliable attendance in a manufacturing environment; prior forklift experience is a plus. This is an on-site position based in New York.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to use basic math and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, including set-up, operation, changeovers, and troubleshooting to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Maintain GMP standards around machinery and perform SOPs.
• Cross train or train on equipment as defined by management.
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage raw materials within work orders.
• Work safely according to company rules and maintain good attendance.
• Report food safety and quality problems to authorized personnel.
