Job summary

LiDestri Foods is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to safely run and adjust production equipment, ensuring quality and sanitation. You will follow SOPs, participate in cross-training, and maintain accurate records for materials and processes.

The role requires basic computer skills, PPE readiness, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Rochester, NY.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to wear PPE and follow safety rules.
• Ability to use basic computer skills and perform simple math.
• Familiarity with hand tools and small equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, including setup, operation, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting.
• Maintain GMP and good housekeeping around machinery.
• Follow SOPs for equipment in assigned area.
• Cross-train or receive equipment training as directed by manager.
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage raw materials in work orders.
• Work safely and maintain good attendance; report food safety or quality issues.
