Job summary

Loparex LLC is hiring for a day-shift to night-shift production operator in Wisconsin. You will operate extrusion machinery, perform start-up and changeovers, monitor quality, and maintain documentation and labels. This role requires safety focus, basic math, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts, with attendance expectations.

Who we are:

Day Shift Schedule:

5:00PM - 5:00AM

• Will start out on Monday - Friday 5 pm to 5 am with one day off during the week and will transition to the schedule below in the future
• 2-2-3 Schedule (2 days on Monday-Thursday; Every other Friday-Sunday off)

Base Pay Rate: $19.50 hourly, plus premiums based upon the following:

• Night shift premium - $2.00 / hr.
• 2-2-3 Schedule Premium: additional $2.00 when going to that shift
• Extruder Machine Premium: $1.00/hr
• Opportunities for additional pay increases if trained as a secondary or primary operator

Responsibilities

• Operate the machine; this includes start-up, changeover, shutdown and daily operation.
• Observe and monitor machine for defects during operation.
• Identify and correct problems on machine. Notify appropriate personnel of any operational issues.
• Use computer to enter valid information and to print out roll labels.
• Perform routine quality testing on product.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including the equipment.
• Follow company safety procedures.
• Must have regular consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity and customers.
• Requires the ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions, use basic math, take accurate measurements and use hand tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand/walk for 12 hours.
