Job summary

Loparex LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Industrial Electrician for our Malvern, PA facility. The role requires rotating shifts (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights) with a 42-hour work week and union workforce involvement.

The successful candidate will diagnose and repair production machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and service plant support systems, including electrical control systems and drives. Prior experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience as an Electronic Tech or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
• Must have electrical training and initiative to work safely.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and modify equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and adjust electrical equipment including drives, motors, interlocks, heating controls, and PLCs.
• Install electrical for new equipment.
• Document and maintain electrical modifications to equipment in schematics.
• Operate maintenance management systems and keep records up to date.

Job description

Loparex LLC is the world's largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone coated release liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturing operations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, and India. We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Industrial Electrician to work in the Malvern, PA facility.

*MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULE* 2 weeks of Day Shift (6a-6p), 2 weeks of Night Shift (6p-6a), 2 weekends Off. Each work week is 42 hours.

This role is within the United Steel Workers local 333 Union workforce.

The successful candidate is responsible for keeping production machinery operating, performing preventive maintenance and servicing plant support systems. Candidate must be able to diagnose and repair machinery, perform mechanical/electronic/electrical control maintenance or preventive maintenance for the production machines, safety interlock systems and hoists.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and follow all applicable safety and environmental requirements.
• Understand and follow parameters on work orders, schedules, and special instructions.
• Maintain, repair, and adjust electrical equipment including circuitry, manual & electronic controls, motors, inter-locking systems, heating controls, sensing devices, DC & AC drives, PLC's and any related components.
• Install electrical for all new equipment.
• Read, document, & maintain electrical modifications to equipment in schematic drawings.
• Input information into the maintenance management systems and keep documents and records complete.
• It is understood that this list of responsibilities is not all encompassing and that we are all expected to do any other duties that may be assigned to our jobs.
• Experience with Alan Bradley and Siemens machinery a plus

JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must act in a professional manner and have a positive work attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
• 2 to 4 years' experience as an Electronic Tech or equivalent electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Must have education, electrical training, experience, and initiative to work in a safe manner.
• Physical ability to perform the required work includes bending, climbing, stooping, handling heavy materials (50 lb. max.), and equipment components in and around the plant.
